Boeing to Showcase Luxury Business Jet at ABACE 2012
Flight Story aviation network--SEATTLE, Mar. 19, 2012 – Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) will display a BBJ with unmatched comfort and capability at the 2012 Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE), to be held March 26-29 in Shanghai, China.The BBJ, equipped with 9 auxiliary fuel tanks, will fly to the air show from its home base, Geneva, Switzerland.
“Range is very important to buyers in China due to the great distances from Asia to Europe and North America,” said Capt. Steve Taylor, BBJ president.
Media, potential customers and attendees of ABACE will be welcomed aboard the BBJ to admire its elegant interior with custom French styling. It features 18 seats, a master bedroom suite with a bathroom and shower.
Boeing will also have an exhibit at ABACE and hold a media briefing on Mar. 26 at 3:00pm at the Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre. Captain Taylor will provide a market update including a strong forecast for business jets in China and give reporters a glimpse inside the newest BBJ delivered this month to a private customer.
