ACASS EXPANDS AIRCRAFT SALES TEAM IN LIGHT OF GROWING DEMAND

ACASS announced today that they have expanded their dedicated aircraft sales team, in order to handle increasing demand and maximize the potential of this key division.  2011 was a record year for ACASS, who closed 11 transactions in 5 continents, totaling over 250 million dollars of aircraft.

“With our unique and diverse experience, ACASS is ideally positioned to handle sales from across the globe, whether in traditional or in emerging markets, in which we are already very active” said Andre Khury, President & CEO.  “I am delighted that we are growing this important area of our business with two skilled and experienced professionals. 2012 is starting out stronger than 2011 and we are seeing strengthening confidence from buyers and sellers which translates into an increase in transactions.”  

Zipporah Marmor has been appointed as Director of Aircraft Sales & Leasing.  Zipporah returns to her native Canada from Monaco, where she was VP Sales & Marketing for New Jet International.  Prior to that, she worked at Bombardier Business Aircraft in Montreal and subsequently at their Farnborough sales office.

Marylin Thomas joins ACASS as Director of Contracts.  Marylin brings a wealth of aviation experience, having worked in Aircraft Contracts for the past ten years, both on business and commercial aircraft.  Marylin is a lawyer and a member of the Quebec Bar since 1991.
